Aria Medical in Ohio/Central Appalachia is dedicated to helping people get the abortion and miscarriage care they need, no matter where they live or travel from. We know it can be difficult to make the decision to end an unexpected or undesired pregnancy.
We’re here to help you feel safe and confident with your decision-making. You will meet with our experienced and compassionate staff in person and with your medical provider in person or by live video.

Our Origin Story
After June 2022, many states criminalized abortion care.
Aria Medical started in Kansas, to be a resource for folks traveling from Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma and other states. When we started, people waited 10 weeks for access to appointments — and not everyone could get seen. Since we launched, we have make sure we have appointments within 7 days of the request — always.

Since 2022, wait times for people seeking medication abortion from Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia, southern Indiana and southern Ohio have exceeded 2-4 weeks. People traveled long distances and to other states to find care.
The Aria team talked with dozens of local experts, and all heard the same message: folks in Central Appalachia need timely, affordable abortion access.
